FORMERLY GUT HISTAMINE BLOCKER

Degrade the histamine,

keep the meal.

Six ingredients built around porcine kidney DAO, NAC, alpha lipoic acid, vitamin C, bromelain, and stinging nettle — the chemistry histamine-sensitive guts need to clear food-derived histamine before it circulates.

Gut Histamine Support bottle
DAO ENZYME
300 mg porcine kidney

Clear histamine at the gut wall.

Porcine kidney is the natural source of diamine oxidase — the enzyme that degrades histamine in the gut lumen before it reaches circulation. For patients with AOC1 variants, this is the missing input.

MAST CELLS
5 pathway cofactors

Stabilize the release.

Quercetin-adjacent stinging nettle, NAC, vitamin C, alpha lipoic acid, and bromelain work upstream — stabilizing mast cells, supporting methylation clearance, and reducing the inflammatory tail.

TIMING
15 minutes pre-meal

Built to stack with the plate.

One to two capsules fifteen minutes before histamine-rich meals primes DAO activity exactly when it is needed. For daily maintenance, two capsules AM and two PM provide continuous support.

MAY BENEFIT

Histamine is a
gut problem first.

01
Food-derived histamine
Porcine kidney DAO degrades dietary histamine at the gut wall before it enters circulation.
02
Mast-cell stability
Stinging nettle and vitamin C support the mast-cell calm that precedes symptom control.
03
GI comfort
Targeting gut-derived histamine reduces the bloating and reflux that track with intolerance.
04
Allergy-like symptoms
Histamine from food can mimic seasonal allergy — clearing the load quiets both patterns.
05
Methylation support
NAC and alpha lipoic acid support the HMNT-adjacent clearance path for circulating histamine.
06
Immune balance
Lowering histamine load reduces the chronic low-grade activation that sits behind many symptoms.

Questions

Frequently asked.

How is Gut Histamine Support different from an antihistamine?
Antihistamines block histamine receptors after the histamine is already circulating. This formula works upstream — DAO degrades dietary histamine at the gut wall, and mast-cell cofactors stabilize release. Fewer receptors need to be blocked because less histamine reaches them.
Who is this formula designed for?
Adults with histamine intolerance, AOC1 or HMNT genetic variants, or food-driven GI symptoms that look like allergy without a clear allergen. Also useful for people who react to fermented, aged, or leftover foods. Work with a practitioner if you have diagnosed MCAS.
When should I take it?
For targeted meals: one to two capsules no more than 15 minutes before consuming histamine-rich foods. For daily maintenance: two capsules in the AM and two in the PM. Children take one capsule pre-meal or as directed by a practitioner.
Does it contain animal ingredients?
Yes. The formula includes porcine kidney powder, which is the natural source of the DAO enzyme that degrades histamine. This is noted on the label and is relevant for people following vegetarian or kosher protocols.
Can I take it with antihistamine medications?
Generally yes — the mechanisms are complementary, not redundant. That said, coordinate with your prescribing clinician if you are on prescription-strength antihistamines, H2 blockers, or mast-cell stabilizers.
Is it safe during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
Consult your healthcare practitioner before use if you are pregnant, lactating, or taking medications. Several ingredients, including NAC and alpha lipoic acid, should be used under oversight in pregnancy.
